The perfect crime goes horribly wrong for brothers Andy (Philip Seymour Hoffman) and Hank (Ethan Hawke) when they botch a robbery of their parents' jewelry store in this wrenching drama from legendary filmmaker Sidney Lumet, who was 82 when he directed the film. Albert Finney and Rosemary Harris co-star as Andy and Hank's unsuspecting parents, with Marisa Tomei appearing as Gina, Andy's unfaithful wife.
William Bloom (Billy Crudup) tries to learn more about his dying father, Edward (Albert Finney), by piecing together the facts out of the various fantastic tales and legends of epic proportions he's been told over the years. Edward was a traveling salesman, and his journeys throughout the South are the seed of the tales. Directed by Tim Burton, the movie co-stars Ewan McGregor (as the young Edward), Helena Bonham-Carter and Steve Buscemi.
Matt Damon returns as trained assassin Jason Bourne in this third film based on Robert Ludlum's best-selling novels. This time around, Bourne travels the globe on a quest to reconstruct his past -- and thus clear the way for his future. As Bourne moves from Moscow to Paris and on to Madrid, London, New York and Morocco, he's joined by returning cast members Julia Stiles and Joan Allen as well as new co-stars David Strathairn and Paddy Considine.
This animated Tim Burton tale set in 19th-century Europe centers on Victor (voiced by Johnny Depp), a young man who, just as he's about to wed Victoria (Emily Watson), is sucked into the underworld by a Corpse Bride (Helena Bonham Carter) who desires him for herself. Victor is fascinated by the Land of the Dead, but nothing can stop him from trying to return to his true living love. Albert Finney and Christopher Lee also lend their voices.
Albert Finney stars as a working class rebel who spends the week tied to a dead-end factory job and the weekend in an endless haze of booze and empty affairs. But when he becomes romantically involved with a beautiful, conventional woman, he must choose between the voice of conscience and a life where settling down could mean settling for less.
